The rules of The Premiere Festival, Bydgoszcz 2011
§ 1
The Premiere Festival is organized by Polish Theatre in Bydgoszcz and sponsored by The Bydgoszcz Municipal Council and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage grants as well as donations from individual donors.
§ 2
- The Premiere Festival is an annual event.
- The Festival presents the premiere performances.
- The festival includes those participants who performed in the season before the festival and those who will be performing during the festival for the first time.
- Both Polish and foreign repertory companies are invited to perform in the festival.
- In exceptional circumstances, the Festival Director can invite other theatres to enter a competition.
§ 3
- Polish Theatre Director is, at the same time, The Premiere Festival Director.
- The Premiere Festival Director decides on the repertoire.
- The Premiere Festival Director sets up the Committee which makes the preliminary competition classification.
§ 4
- The Premiere Festival is a competition judged by jury.
- The jury is appointed by the Festival Director.
- The jury committee awards, at its own discretion, the authors of the performances.
- The Festival Director presents the final expenditure plan to the President of Bydgoszcz.
